Ordering Options

Brown University is under agreement with the National Student Clearinghouse to provide a 24/7 transcript ordering service to our customers. Using the National Student Clearinghouse Transcript Ordering Service requires the user to submit their signature using their consent form to the Clearinghouse to authorize the release of the transcript.

All transcript requests must be accompanied by an authorized signature of the requestor.

 

Due to building maintenance in Page-Robinson Hall, the Office of the Registrar will be required to work entirely remotely from Friday, March 21 through Friday, March 28.  During that time, students will not be able to pick up hard copy transcripts for pick-up at the office.  Similarly, we will not be able to mail any hard copy transcripts via either USPS or Fed Ex.  As a result, requestors are highly encouraged to select the electronic delivery method to email recipients for transcripts. Regular operations will resume on Monday, March 31st and any hard copies ordered during our remote period will be mailed or available for pick up at that time.

Additional transcript resources that are available include a legend for transcripts, expedited delivery, information for graduating students and e-Transcripts.

Delivery Options

  1. Secure electronic PDF delivery (only available for students enrolled 1983-PresentUnretrieved e-transcripts will expire 30 days after they are processed if not opened by the recipient and cannot be forwarded beyond the original recipient.  
  2. FedEx (This incurs a fee and requires a credit card.)
  3. Standard U.S. Postal Service
  4. In person pickup (318 Page-Robinson Hall)
